Travelers walking a Left Bank street in Paris during a filming-location tour
READ THE POST

Set-jetting group trips turn the series you rewatch every winter into a week you live in person, with fellow fans who know every line. Picture a Left Bank café in the morning and a Loire Valley chateau by afternoon, with every logistic handled. I design these trips for a living. My guests arrive with the […]

Travel advisor Michele Schwartz in costume on the deck of a cruise ship during a Halloween sailing
READ THE POST

The right Halloween cruise comes down to one question: who is sharing your stateroom? Disney builds October around children in costume. Virgin Voyages builds its fall around adults in red. I have sailed both, and the two products share a season and almost nothing else. I have done Halloween on the High Seas twice.  Once, […]

Leather ankle boots with a low block heel on a wet cobblestone street in Paris
READ THE POST

Knowing what to wear in Paris in fall comes down to one truth: the season shifts noticeably between September and November, and your suitcase should keep pace. Paris dresses for the weather with more polish than most cities. Parisian women rarely look underdressed, even in the rain. Plan for smart layers and shoes built for […]

Where to go for fall foliage — the best fall foliage road trip by traveler type
READ THE POST

Every fall, the same question surfaces in travel conversations, on social feeds, and now increasingly in AI search: where to go for fall foliage? Most people get the same short list: Vermont, the Blue Ridge Parkway, and New England. Most people who follow that advice come home having spent more time in traffic than in […]

Virtuoso Travel Week — luxury travel agent conference Las Vegas
READ THE POST

Here is the question I get more than almost any other: is it actually worth using a travel agent for luxury travel, or is that just something travel agents say? If you have wondered whether a luxury travel agent really makes a difference, you are not alone. I just got back from Virtuoso Travel Week […]

Place de l'Estrapade in Paris France where Emily's apartment building is located
READ THE POST

Is Emily in Paris accurate? The honest answer is: not especially. That is the most useful thing a traveler can know before landing at Charles de Gaulle. The show is ending. Season 6, confirmed as the final season, is filming now across Paris, Greece, and Monaco, with a release expected in late 2026 or early […]

Paris street scene for the Emily in Paris set-jetting group travel journey in 2027
READ THE POST

The Statue of Liberty Paris visitors are most likely to walk past without recognizing stands on a narrow artificial island in the Seine, facing west toward New York. She is a quarter the size of the one in the harbor. She holds a tablet inscribed with two dates, not one. Most people who pass her […]

Historic exterior of Sally Lunn's tea house in Bath, England
READ THE POST

The restaurant booking window is the single most overlooked skill in food travel, and it explains why some travelers eat brilliantly abroad while others settle for whatever table happens to be open. Three extraordinary meals can run on three completely different clocks. One opens a reservation window months out. One rewards a traveler ready to […]

Cruise ship at sunset during a Thanksgiving holiday sailing
READ THE POST

A Thanksgiving cruise is not a consolation prize for people who could not get flights home. It is a deliberate decision, and this year the math makes it more compelling than it has been in years. I am making this decision right now, in real time, for my own family. November 27th is my wedding […]

Sunrise view of the Sydney Opera House from an ocean cruise ship balcony
READ THE POST

River cruise vs ocean cruise is the question every first-time cruiser eventually asks, and most of the answers they find online were written by someone trying to sell them a cabin. This one wasn’t. If you’ve ever wondered about the differences between a river cruise vs. an ocean cruise, you’re not alone. I have sailed […]

Jet Setting with Me Podcast

Travel is most meaningful when it connects you to a place, its culture, its stories, the scenes that made you want to go in the first place. That's the standard at Jet Setting with Me, whether that means following a filming location through the streets of Paris or stepping into the London that exists between the pages and the screen. No generic itineraries. No trips built from a template.

Michele Schwartz has been in hospitality longer than most travel advisors have been traveling. She started as a Walt Disney World cast member, built and sold a content business that held Page 1 on Google, and has spent the last several years designing travel rooted in real experience. She holds CTA and VTA credentials, is affiliated with Virtuoso travel and knows the difference between a trip that looks good on paper and one that actually delivers.

Every recommendation comes from having actually been there. Michele travels the destinations, sails the ships, and walks the locations her clients ask about. That's the standard — and it's what separates a trip that's booked from one that's remembered. The work is in the details. The experience is yours.
